Yet everyday we are being fed videos, articles, and artwork created by AI bots and told its wonderful. HR only reviews resumes and one way videos for important hires after a bot in their HR automation package reviews it. I'm even concerned about medical imaging when eventually the AI review will not be human reviewed. No human salaries sounds like the CFO's dream.
I've had to deal with both phone and online bots in different settings. The entire exchange ends in frustration because they can't respond to anything from me that is nuanced or off their programmed track. I cannot imagine that a Hippocratic AI bot with a patient, even if only hunting and gathering routine information (and I see a use for bots there) is going to be much better with a sick or impaired patient. Much less with someone needing real human contact .
So good Thomas! Humorous writing and spot on.

Your retirement has been very good to me. :)
Well argued, thoughtful piece.

We care for two disabled relatives, and spend a lot of time working with healthcare providers. I cannot imagine bots doing the jobs they do.
